ABOUT US
ALLO Sound is a professional recording studio situated in Widnes UK run by Jonathan Tringham, a record producer, engineer, mixer, mastering engineer and musician.
Jonathan says: “I pride myself in creating diverse and interesting recordings for rock, indie, punk, grunge and alternative artists but no matter what genre, I can bring your vision alive!”
“I live for honest sounds, actual rooms, real people, creative attitudes and true performances in the studio and will do everything in my power to help you create and capture that vision.”
With 12 years experience recording, mixing and producing a very diverse set of music, we can definitively pull it out the bag here at ALLO Sound Studio.

The Studio
The studio was designed by Jonathan Tringham to allow music to be heard and created naturally to great sonic standard while allowing you to enjoy the space for those long sessions as if it were yours.
The recording side of the studio is an analogue/digital hybrid running interesting and beautiful analogue equipment into Logic X, while doing most post recording production digitally. The studio is run from a 32 channel Allen and Heath GS300 mixing console with other pro audio equipment such as PMC, API, Neve, Coles, Midas, AKG, BSS, HEIL, Sennheiser, Lindell Audio and much more…
In the dead live room we have a pallet wall dedicated to naturally diffusing guitar amps and vocals, a beach laminate floor with a soft ceiling for controlled ambience. We also have a isolated vocal booth for the voice overs.
Upstairs we have a bigger live room where drums are predominately recorded. It was built with drums in mind with no parallel walls, wood floor and some high frequency absorbtion for the best drum and cymbal resonance.
Each space can be utilised by a selection of Premier, Pearl, Yamaha, Mapex, Zildjian and Paiste drum equipment plus Fender, Marshall, Vox and Ashdown guitar equipment. Plus much more…
On site there is parking, toilet facilities, two comfy couches, a industrial sized coffee machine, other chill out space upstairs and space to breathe away from the surrounding cities.
